SAM IRWIN
PROJECT MANAGER
AT THE OFFICE: Sam joined the HDLA team in March of 2021. With a background in plant sciences and a Master’s in Landscape Architecture, Sam brings a diverse skill set ranging from regional plant knowledge to creative modeling techniques. He is most passionate about how design can be used as a tool to influence how users interact with certain spaces by coupling ideas of ecology, infrastructure and culture.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE: Sam enjoys spending his free time doing just about anything outdoors, whether it’s going for a hike, honing in on his photography skills, or enjoying a cold one with friends. During the fall, all of these adventures get put on hold as he can only be found shouting Rocky Top and cheering on the Vols.
